Terms of use

These terms are an agreement between you and Pythowner, the operator of Astra QB. By creating an account or using the app you accept them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. The service

Astra QB is a question bank for medical students: practice questions with explanations, timed and tutor sessions, review tools, reference material and performance analytics. Content is organised into banks, and access to a bank is attached to your account.

2. Your account

• One account per person. Keep the information on it accurate.
• You are responsible for your password and for what happens under your account. Do not share it.
• Each account may be signed in on a limited number of devices. You can sign a device out from Settings.
• You must be at least 16 years old.

3. Access and activation

• Access to a bank is granted to your account by the Astra team, or by redeeming an activation code where that option is offered.
• Activation codes are single-use and tied to the account that redeems them. Access runs for the period the code or grant specifies.
• Once a code has been activated it cannot be transferred, and no refund is given except where the law requires one.
• Deleting your account ends your access and does not refund codes already activated.

4. Acceptable use

The service is for your own personal study. You agree not to:

• copy, screenshot, record, photograph, transcribe, scrape or otherwise extract questions, explanations, images or audio;
• share, sell, post or redistribute any content, or share your account;
• reverse engineer, probe or interfere with the app or its servers;
• use the service in a way that breaks the law or harms other users.

Question content shown to you is marked with an identifier tied to your account. The app detects screenshots and screen recording on question screens and reports them for review. Confirmed violations may lead to suspension or termination of your account without refund.

5. Intellectual property

The questions, explanations, images, audio, software and design of Astra QB belong to Pythowner or its licensors and are protected by copyright and related laws. You get a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use them inside the app for study. No other rights are granted.

6. Availability and changes

We work to keep the service available, but it may be interrupted for maintenance, updates or reasons outside our control. We may add, change or remove features and content, and may update these terms. If a change is material we tell you in the app; continued use after that means you accept it.

7. Educational material only

The content is study material for exam preparation. It is not medical advice and must not be used for the diagnosis or treatment of any person. Although we review our content, we do not guarantee that every item is complete, current or free of errors.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pythowner is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the access in question in the twelve months before the claim.

9. Termination

You can delete your account at any time from Settings or as described on the Delete your account page. We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these terms. Sections 4, 5, 7 and 8 survive termination.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Iraq. Disputes that cannot be settled between us are subject to the courts of Iraq.
